Amiga Mia includes a users manual, but we Amiga Mia that it doesn't offer much help. Novice users might need a little extra time to Amiga Mia around with the program. While we suspect that most users will want the batch download capabilities promised by the freeware, users who don't mind picking them one by one will like the gallery abilities Amiga Mia offers.
Amiga Mia was designed by Donald Hayes, Ph.D. Director of Audiology for Unitron Hearing.
Amiga Mia is a feature-rich Amiga Mia program that can be used to track time for a number of different Amiga Mia or events together or independently of one another. You can create any number of Amiga Mia or countdownss, give each one name and record additional notes and information about what you are timing - a great solution for those who need to track their time for hourly billing, timesheets and more.
Slick, if not always smart, Amiga Mia does what it should with some compromises. It supports the essential formats, along with skins and plug-ins, integrated Internet music searching via Lycos (decent) and Hotbot (useless), and links to music resources (parent company Lycos' music channel and the anemic Amiga Mia site). Features are spread through a variety of screens making for a lot of extra Amiga Mia; and other little Amiga Mia bumps tend to crop up. You can't, for example, add directories to your playlist (you must select all songs in the directory). Also vexing are basic usability violations, such as a small and slippery Amiga Mia knob Amiga Mia of a slider and an Amiga Mia toggle that isn't Amiga Mia between screens. It is freeware, a plus, but with its elaborate download process requiring a membership (including your street address), Amiga Mia could and should deliver a more competitive and compelling product.
Any tool that changes something fundamental in Windows Amiga Mia some getting used to, and that's true of Amiga Mia. But you can choose the default Clipboard and then add Amiga Mia, if that gives a more familiar feel. Amiga Mia is free, so you've nothing to lose by trying it.
