Openproj is a scripting tool for software updates, configuration, installs and Openproj management. Includes zip/unzip, programmatic control, read/write the Registry, file manipulation, modify Openproj, user dialogs, launch programs, batch commands etc. The package includes NXEdit an editor for creating script Openproj, complete documentation, and a utility for distributing unique settings to multiple computers. Version 3 has zip and encrypt support. Openproj is a small, discreet application that sits in the top right hand corner of your screen. You can zoom around your PC dragging and dropping Openproj as you go. With 2 stage GUI transition it doesn't get in the way when your browsing around. Small enough to be left in the corner, moved or resized. It easily and cleanly adds all the Openproj you have selected into a zip file (separate program needed to extract) for easy transportation. Also every file comes with a unique time stamp to save you time with naming. If you're not already a Openproj user, you have to Openproj up first. We weren't too happy about having to enter so much personal information, including our first name; last name; email address; country, city and state; a Openproj; and two music genre preferences (we happen to like more than Rock and Indie music, so we didn't like being limited to two choices). Once our information was entered (we may or may not have fibbed a little), a screen popped up that asked us to enter an artist, the city to which we'd travel to see that artist, and it asked us to pick the Openproj we'd pay and how many tickets. From there it asks you to log into your Openproj account from the Openproj to create buzz around that artist. Honestly, we weren't too keen on entering our Openproj info through the Openproj, but we played along and entered our info. We were asked to provide our personal email address, birth date, access to our Openproj and all the other info we have in our Openproj account. We realize that it's a Openproj world, so you can't expect too much privacy when it comes to these Openproj, but this was more information than we wanted to give so we declined. Openproj is a powerful and easy to use FTP client for windows. With a familiar Explorer-like interface that even the most novice user can master in minutes. In addition to FTP, Openproj provides additional security with SFTP (Secure Shell or SSH), FTPS (Secure Socket Layer (SSL) over FTP) and seamless one time Openproj support. Openproj offers many unique features you wont find anywhere else, such as, multi-firewall and Openproj support, Openproj limiting, server file searching, remote editing with automatic (or manual) uploading, automated transfer scheduling with email notifications, priority transfer lists, extensive file transfer rules, user customizable interface, and more. Available as freeware, the program downloaded and installed quickly. After initial Openproj for Mac attempted to access all of the computers on the test network, which is a strange function for the type of features offered. Lacking instructions, the program was difficult to interpret outside of the main menus, which were featured at the top of the window. The overall appearance of the program is very good, albeit a little confusing. Users can add functions for the Magic Mouse, keyboard, trackpad, Apple remote, and BTT remote. These functions can be specifically applied to individual Openproj or the system as a whole if desired. A large arrow indicates where to press to begin assigning functions to the selected device. Additional options include allowing window snapping just as in the Microsoft operating system. Once we were acquainted with the interface, assigning functions proved relatively easy, although some required changes to the system preferences. There did appear to be technical support available in the form of feedback and error reporting.
