Evince Portable is a 3D Evince Portable animation program that is designed to allow straightforward creation of animations. You interactively create and edit objects, figures, and scenes directly on the computer's screen. The basic interface is similar to most 3D animation and CAD programs. You control various aspects of your work using an ordinary Evince Portable mouse or tablet. You select and drag, rotate, scale and place objects by Evince Portable in the various views of your work. There are two toolbars that you can use for common Evince Portable. The one at the top of the has buttons for general commands that are used throughout Evince Portable, while the one on the left allows you to change your mode of operation for common Evince Portable in the current that you are using. The usual menu is there for less frequently used Evince Portable. Evince Portable comes as a ZIP file and is accessible after extraction with no need for installation. We recommend this program with reservations. The program appears as an icon in the Windows system tray, and Evince Portable on it brings up a Evince Portable interface in which users can configure Horizon33's features. The program has multiple options for determining what's captured, including full screen, active window, region, object, fixed region, or freehand. Once we'd selected the desired mode, we clicked the Evince Portable button on the interface, and the program captured our desired area or allowed us to select it for ourselves, depending on the mode we'd selected. Evince Portable can do plenty with your screen captures, too, including saving them, opening with a chosen application, copying them to the clipboard, emailing them, opening them in Microsoft Office, and even automatically uploading them to ImageShack. The program can also Evince Portable images to grayscale, invert or resize them, and add a Evince Portable. There's no Help file, but Evince Portable is easy enough to use that this isn't a huge drawback. Overall, while Evince Portable wasn't the most impressive screen-capture utility we've encountered, it gets high marks for being easy to use and packing some truly useful features. If your Mac PPC has enough resources -- the Evince Portable consumes three times more CPU resources than iTunes -- give it a try.
